A lifelong resident of the Boston area, Erik Tobias joined Campion and Company in 2020 to help expand its practice for people with disabilities. Erik’s personal experience as a disabled person, business school background, and passion for real estate, in combination with his natural empathy, uniquely qualify him for this work.

Erik helps clients evaluate the functionality of potential home purchases for the able-bodied, disabled, and elderly alike. He is adept at guiding clients through the full range of buying and selling decisions and his comparative value and pricing analyses are based on a decade of studying the single family, townhome, and condominium markets in the Boston metro area.

As a student at the John M. Olin School of Business at Washington University in St. Louis, Erik studied business and economics; at Boston University he studied marketing and management, intending to enter real estate. He has also worked as a summer intern analyzing consumer data and creating sales presentations at the International Flavors and Fragrances Company (IFF) in the Netherlands.

Erik’s subsequent personal experience in hospital and physical rehabilitation settings has afforded him an extraordinary opportunity to engage with a more diverse spectrum of people than he might have otherwise done, enriching his life and understanding immeasurably. Over the last three years, he has focused on weight training, adaptive tennis, and rowing to gain maximum mobility and prepare himself to compete in sports once again.

Martha’s Vineyard was his previous home-away-from-home, where he enjoyed working as a tennis instructor. These days he heads to Falmouth and Westport, MA for his R & R. Erik also enjoys learning the Spanish language and has a great interest in sports, dining and history.

In today’s world, people have a range of needs, especially when it comes to buying a home.  As a physically disabled adult, I understand that trying to find a place to live may be a daunting task when your needs are different or your mobility is limited. This is why, in addition to working with able-bodied adults, I specialize in working with people across a broad spectrum of needs, including children and adults with disabilities, wheelchair users, and the elderly.  Real estate has always been my passion.  Please feel free to reach out if you have questions about how I can help you find a home that is right for you.  Know that I will bring both passion and understanding to learning about - and finding solutions for - your unique real estate needs.
